Pawnee Rock city officials

Pawnee Rock straddles U.S. Highways 56 and 156 in the southwestern corner of Barton County. The population in the 2000 census was 356, and in 2004 it was estimated to be 341.

Pawnee Rock elections are held in odd-numbered years. General election voting for Pawnee Rock Township, Barton County and state positions is held in even years.

Pawnee Avenue and Rock Street, one block west of the post office. Call (620) 982-4386. (The building is the former Methodist Church.) Hours are 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.
